Come Out and Enjoy the Fun!

The Bargain Basket Thrift Shop, the oldest thrift store on Marco Island, has reached a remarkable milestone this year—celebrating 50 years of service to the community. And we plan to celebrate this milestone with the Marco Island community!

Join us for a “Thrifty and Fifty” family-fun event in Veteran’s Park on Saturday, April 5th from 4pm-7pm. There will be live music, line dancing, food trucks, face painting and more! Be sure to bring a chair for the entertainment at the bandshell.

We’ve also teamed up with our long-time mission partner, Our Daily Bread for an hourly raffle drawing. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable foods to the Our Daily Bread booth at the event to be entered into the drawing for a chance to win Bargain Basket gift certificates. As the season wraps up and you make your plans to head north, this gives you the perfect opportunity to donate any unused groceries that you do not want to leave behind!
